One of the most interesting podcast interviews I’ve done was with Yamaha Trumpet Artist Rex Richardson. We’ve been fans of his for a long time – and there might not be another musician that does as much traveling playing trumpet around the world as Rex does. A quick glance at his schedule will require a geography degree and a nice world atlas.
But what’s amazing about Rex (as I learned in this podcast interview) is that he’s playing multiple styles (classical, jazz, brass band etc) with the same equipment – a Yamaha Chicago Artist Model trumpet.
